September 21, 2015 – 67 years old ex-Lynyrd Skynyrd drummer does not hold back in his recent interview. Here’s what he had to say about the current state of Lynyrd Skynyrd:
”The so called Skynyrd, they have a purpose and their purpose is money… Gary Rossington is surrounded by sinister thief’s and they have taken the name of Lynyrd Skynyrd and dragged it through mud…”
”It’s glorified karaoke, a clown act… They have just taken the name and used it so that they can make a bunch of money and pretend that they are Lynyrd Skynyrd”
On Johnny Van Zant
”Unfortunately Johnny Van Zant cannot sing, he cannot write and he has no stage presence. He is a backstabbing liar, he does not deserve to be the singer of Lynyrd Skynyrd”
On Gary Rossington
”I love Gary, I miss Gary, I see him in all the funerals, but Gary is surrounded by very sinister, hidden agenda, brown-nosing, backstabbing astute’s”
”Gary allows this to go on because he is weak, I feel bad for Gary”
On Judy Van Zant
