November 03, 2016 – Gary Rossington, the legendary founding member and guitarist of Lynyrd Skynyrd along with his wife, Dale Krantz-Rossington, will release new album Take It On Faith, November 4, 2016 on Loud & Proud Records. People who expect another hard rockin’ Rossington band release should note that Take in on Faith is more blues-based recording than their previous two albums, Returned to the Scene of the Crime and Love Your Man.
Take It On Faith is Rossington’s first solo release since 1988 and is comprised of 12 songs recorded by an studio band that was put together by the album’s producer and engineer, David Z (Prince, Etta James, Buddy Guy) with guest appearance from ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons who co-wrote “Good Side of Good”.
