Gregg Allman to be inaugurated into Georgia Music Hall of Fame

September 25, 2015 – In Saturday, September 26th, the Georgia Music Hall of Fame will inaugurate former Allman Brothers Band leader Gregg Allman, a longtime Georgia resident, in their Awards ceremony at the Georgia World Congress Center — which will air live on Georgia Public Broadcasting.

Along with Gregg Allman, they will also inaugurate Sam Moore, John and Jane Barbe, John Huie and Monica Pearson, as well as honor Philip Walden Jr. posthumously. The attorney son of the late Capricorn Records co-founder Phil Walden played an integral part in reviving Allman Brothers’ old record company, Capricorn Records.
